GroBag: Babies R Us Australia | Gro Egg 2: Babies R Us Australia
Today I have teamed up with Babies R Us Australia to do a few completely honest reviews on different products. Today is the first in this series. Today I am reviewing the Gro Egg 2 and GroBag.
I've been using my Gro Egg 2 for over a month now. I've also been using the GroBag's which are sleeping bags that are safe for babies to sleep in. The Gro Egg changes colour depending on the temperature of the room. It also has a gentle nightlight that can be adjusted to different brightness levels.
My favourite thing about the Gro Egg 2 is that you can plug it into the wall and it doesn't run on batteries! I also really like that the Gro Egg 2 ties in with the GroBag and they make it really easy to know what to dress Bub in for a good nights sleep.
When you buy a GroBag it tells you the TOG information. You're probably wondering what on earth does tog mean, so let me break it down:
A tog measurement is a European warmth rating: the higher the tog, the warmer the product. Grobag baby sleep bags are available in four tog ratings:
- 3.5 Tog Cold temperatures, for cold rooms16°C (61°F) and below
- 2.5 Tog All year round, for standard rooms16-20°C (61-68°F)
- 1.0 Tog Summer and daytime naps, warmer weather and in rooms 21-23°C (69-74°F)
- 0.5 Tog Holiday and heatwaves, hot weather and very warm rooms 24-27°C (75-81°F)
The Gro Egg works in perfectly with the Tog Ratings as the togs are colour coded the same as the egg, so say it's a really cold night, your Gro Egg will be blue and your 3.5 Tog GroBag will have a blue label and instructions on what to dress baby in. You will never worry if your baby is too cold or too hot again.
I really wish I had this from the start with Seraphina as it would of calmed my first time mum nerves. Ive started gifting the Gro Egg 2 at baby showers as I truly believe its a must have for new mums!
Love and light,
