Philips Avent 4 in 1 Steamer & Blender
Today is my second honest review for Babies R Us Australia. I am absolutely thrilled to be doing this review today. I've been using this baby food maker for the last month. It does four things, steams, blends, defrosts and reheats. It takes all the hassle of making baby food away and actually makes the whole process super fun!
One of my favourite things about the Philips Avent 4 in 1 is how easy it is to clean, everything comes apart, theres no hard crevices and it easily washes. It's also dishwasher safe, I also love that the baby food maker comes with a nutritional recipe book which was formulated by specialist Dr Emma Williams. You can also download the app which has a ton of different recipes on it.
You can make breakfast, lunch and dinner in this Philips Avent Steamer and Blender. Seraphina enjoys a pear prune puree for breakfast which helps her stay bowels stay regular. I normally do a vegetable mix for lunch and meat/fish and veg for dinner.
One of my favourite recipes that I developed for Seraphina and her needs is my salmon and vegetables mix. I use one skinless salmon, half an avocado, broccoli, celery, cucumber and cauliflower. Seraphina loves this meal. She also really enjoys the basic carrot and chicken mash.
When the food is steaming the machine is silent, once the food has finished steaming the machine will beep loudly three times. You can then drain any excess water out of the hole on the bottom. You then flip it over and start blending to the consistency you want. It's just that simple.
I feel incredibly confident as a mother knowing exactly what Seraphina is consuming in her food. Theres no additives, added salter sugar or nasty preservatives. Its just wholesome, healthy food made my mum for bub. I am still breast feeding Seraphina so I give her a milk feed first then wait 20 minutes to give her solids.
I highly recommend the
